FAQ'S
We offer a wide range of logistics and supply chain services. These include ISO tank container shipping, sea and air freight, port agency, bunkering, export packing, and renting forklifts and other equipment. We handle bulk chemicals, liquids, and solids, as well as 3PL services, domestic and international transportation, and global forwarding.
We have our headquarters in Mumbai (India) and are based in the major Indian ports (Nhava Sheva, Hazira, Bharuch) and reach out to international markets with the help of a global partner network. We also co-ordinate deliveries in/out of major sea and air gateways around the world.
An ISO tank container is a standardized cylindrical vessel (constructed to ISO standards) used in the bulk transportation of liquids or gases by sea, rail or road. It is applied with large-volume liquid or gas cargo (chemicals, food-grade liquids, etc) and a desire to have safe and efficient multimodal transportation.
We have experience dealing with dangerous goods (DG) and collaborate with exporters/importers to ensure proper classification, documentation, packaging, UN-codes, IMDG / IATA regulations, and safe multimodal conveyance. This involves export packing, selection of tanks/packaging and planning of route.
It will be based on the route and service. Indian ports to major European ports can take 20-30 days by direct sea freight, to the USA East Coast can be 30-40 days. Airfreight is normally 2-7 days depending on time and clearance. We will give you transit time estimates after you give us origin, destination, type and mode of cargo.
The important cost drivers are mode (sea or air), type of cargo (bulk liquid or packed goods), packaging/handling needs (ISO tank or drums or flexi-tank), ports of origin and destination, volume/weight, hazardous (where applicable), seasonal demand and customs/port surcharges. We offer comprehensive quotes of all cost elements.
We can do both! You may require end-to-end door to door logistics, inland haulage, customs clearance, and export packing, or you may simply need a port to port shipment, we will customize the solution to your supply-chain requirements. The service we offer is based on your needs.
Customs clearance is also a service we can do on your behalf. The consignee (you) bears the import duties, tax and any destination custom charges unless otherwise. We will give clarity to the quote.
Yes, we strongly suggest it for valuable shipments, particularly bulk liquid/chemical loads. We help in placing insurance and claims. Whereas we handle the safe transport logistics, insurance covers you against unseen circumstances (damage, theft, loss during transit).
Our packaging, handling and mode-selection are industry best-practices. In case of an incident, we collaborate with insurers, start processing claims, give documentation and assist you in the recovery process. We have a network all over the world, which allows us to respond very quickly.
Our goals are to optimize routing and mode-selection to minimize emissions per tonne-kilometre, standardised ISO tanks (which minimise repacking and waste), safe handling of chemicals to minimise environmental risks and collaborate with carriers and agents who are dedicated to responsible logistics.
Terms of payment are based on the type of service, cargo value and relationship with the customer. We usually need payment milestones (e.g. deposit and balance on the issuance of sailing or air waybills). We are able to negotiate and conclude in the service contract.
Yes – we provide domestic haulage, export-packing and inland transportation of containers as integrated supply-chain services to provide end-to-end logistics between the factory and the port, and destination port and consignee.
